Pink Azalea with Red Spots


Happy Mother’s Day. Our azaleas have already faded (this shot is from last week), but the rhododendron is starting to show color, and the roses have tiny buds. We have a bit of a chilly day here… lots of unusual winds yesterday.

A beautiful photo with lots of detail (I love the darker pink spots) and a wonderfl blurred background. Did yo use the "new" camera?

Yes, I took this with my Canon Rebel xTi. I find the trick is to get the right distance back from the subject and look for a good background far behind it - I liked the way the green background blurred in this one, for example.
