Jerusalem Light Rail in Sepia

Jerusalem light rail in sepia
Looking back to my trip to Israel in May, here is a street scene with a Jerusalem light rail train. And lots of people. It’s Thursday night, so many people have finished work for the week.

This is actually the newer section of Jerusalem. The old city can be seen on this post, and if you like really, really old, visit The City of David.

Thursday Challenge theme is MONOCHROME (Black and White, Sepia, Old Looking,…).

Very nice! It reminds me of a former meme, Sepia Scenes. I am sue it would be good in black and white too!

Yes, I used to more of these sepia photos for Sepia Scenes. I first did it in black-and-white, and I added the sepia by adjusting the red and yellow slightly.

I love that picture; it looks a hundred years old.

The buildings are probably over 100 years old. The light rail? Less than ten! Thanks for visiting, Batya.

I really like this in sepia tones. It gives an air of nostalgia to it, and with the older architecture, works so well. I also like the contrasts of new versus old.

Shabbat Shalom!

Thank you, Lorri. The new and old is a theme all throughout Israel.

What a modern scene in such an old city. Sepia enhances the details.
