Magnolia, Cherry Blossoms of Spring

magnolia buds among blossoms of spring
This post is all spring blossoms. Enjoy these magnolia buds.

If you walk down North Eighth Avenue in Highland Park, you can see trees in bloom – magnolia trees.

Cherry blossoms are also beautiful.

I love seeing magnolia flowers on the ground with dandelions. The blossoms don’t last – maybe you can see them for two weeks each spring?

dandelion and periwinkle
Periwinkle with dandelions – this is a different version of the photo I posted yesterday. That post had reflections on recent events; today, I just want to relax among spring blossoms.

What blossoms of spring appear in your neighborhood?

Your photos are lovely and brought a smile to my face. I haven't had too many smiles, lately, due to the Boston events.

Good, that was the intention (the smiles - I need them, too).

I am sure you need them, too. I like the line of trees on the divider...beautiful. I like the blend of magnolia blossoms and dandelions...so colorful.

oh Leora these are so beautiful! I saw the first dandelions pop up yesterday in our garden... I've seen some trees blooming in the neighbor hood... ours are hold outs, but the lilacs are really at the edge of bursting. It is raining today so I know that will help everything:-)

I love when the lilacs are in bloom! One of my neighbors has a bush. I should go see.

Wonderful spring blossoms. It looks like we were about a month ahead of you in terms of spring.

Sounds about right, although two of these shots (magnolia buds and cherry blossooms) are two weeks old; I often save up similar captures for one post.

How wonderful to see everything in bloom! Lovely shots. Not much is blooming here yet, spring is late!

I can almost smell their sweet scent. Thanks for sharing these beautiful blossoms!

Here we still have daffodils and hyancinth, but no flowering trees yet.
