Corn – Macro Monday

Photographing corn – the kernels are quite shiny and smooth.

My friend who grew up in Minnesota said yellow corn is animal feed – but I like both white and yellow corn. Do you?

Yummy detailed macros!
Hubby and I just bought yellow corn today and just finished dinner.
I love both kinds. We grew yellow corn when I was growing up.It wasn't until many many years later did I taste white corn.

I feel vindicated. You obviously grew up in corn country, Carletta.

Terrific macros! I like the mixture on one cob, known as peaches and cream.

Yellow corns are easily available here in the supermarket and they are for human consumption...

I have only tried yellow corn. Corn on hob is not something people eat in France. Corn is only found in tins or given to cattle therefore you cannot buy it on markets or in stores. In other words I would not have been able to take your beautiful photos.

So funny the responses to corn - I would have no idea that you can't get corn on the cob in France. It's a common summer food here. People sometimes barbecue the corn, too, or wrap it in foil and cook it in an outdoor fire at a campsite.
