Nature Notes: Geese, Cherry Blossoms, Forsythia
I photographed the cherry blossoms (pink flowers) in front of forsythia (yellow flowers).
The geese in Donaldson Park are enjoying the spring weather by the Raritan River.
We are getting ready for Passover (Pesach in Hebrew); one of the nicknames for Passover is Hag Ha’Aviv, the Holiday of Spring.

I love the way the forsythia forms a yellow background for the cherry blossoms. The shot of the geese is also beautiful. I hope you have a happy Passover.

Carver, I had fun with the pink on yellow. I took quite a few shots and decided to post that one.

Beautiful harbingers of better days. I wonder where the geese in the US go in the winter. European geese fly to Africa.

I'm thinking they might hang out there (in Donaldson Park) all year.

You are quite the nature photographer now...and I am the gardener.. who knew..LOL... I haven't done my NN post yet. Maybe I will use the dandelion post as it took so long to write..I wanted to let you know that I know who you are as webmaven and you can just make up an e-mail address as I have to do on some WP blogs. They changed it making people log into WP and it makes it hard for me so I use an fake e-mail and just rambling woods..hope this helps...Hmmm..should I use the dandelion post or just reference it...Michelle

I discovered I have an old WordPress account with user name leoraw, so I'm trying to use that instead of mswebmaven. Hoping the next time I leave you a message it will link back to my blog. I edited the WordPress.com profile accordingly.
WordPress.com made things complicated on purpose. So annoying of them.

and there was a huge outcry from WP blog users and they didn't change it back or address the issues which is surprising for them as they had always been so responsive unlike blogger

I really like the cherry blossom photo. The forsythia in the background is beautifully blurred and lends a nice contrast. You've inspired me to do something about flowers in an upcoming post.
