Graffiti on New Brunswick Bridge
Last week I had an opportunity to meander through the Native Plant Reserve in Highland Park. I went as far as the edge of the Raritan River, and that’s where I photographed this shot of graffiti on the New Brunswick side. It’s really the only color around at this time of year. You can see photos of the bridge over the Raritan River between New Brunswick and Highland Park on this post.

It's pretty. I'm one of those weird people who finds graffiti kind of attractive -- you know, as long as it's just a picture on the internet and not the siding on my house. :)

Native plant reserve...wish we had one...it must be cold for you now...

I took some cold weather photos in the Native Plant Reserve - shades of brown. Maybe it will make it to Nature Notes today.

Colourful.

I like the colorful reflections, and the pop of colors within the bare trees of winter.

What Jewaicious says! I do not care much for graffiti but these look quite good.

I'm not crazy about graffiti, either, but it was the only color I could find.

Wow, something about this image just transported me straight back to New Brunswick. I don't know if it's the gray, the light, the graffiti, the mere thought of traveling over the bridge on my way back to school, but whatever it is, in my mind I was instantly there.
And that's really the best thing that a photograph can do, isn't it? Transport and transform the viewer, into something or some place unexpected. Well done Leora.

New Brunswick - has it changed? Not much. A few more tall buildings, mostly Rutgers buildings. A bit more urban in some Rutgers areas.

What a colorful, fun image. The reflection you've captured shows you have a good eye for the art.

Very beautiful reflection and bridge. I've always liked graffiti although the territorial gang type isn't a good thing but the city art done spontaneously appeals to me.
