Strawberry Against Blue
Last week I featured a radish; this week here are homegrown strawberries. Can you guess what the bright blue background is?

The blue on a Redi-Whip can? Or better yet, the container of whipping cream about to be whipped into a frenzy adding a wonderful sweet topping for the ruby berries? We need to check our garden out to find a ripe berry or two...

Tempting delicatessen.My mouth cries out for a taste. My wild strawberries are just blooming. We are so much later, due to the cold weather.
The sapphire blue went very well with the Strawberry red.
I'm giving Joyce's Ulysses a try for the third time. Gunnar bought a comment book once we were in Ireland, I'm using that to keep control over the many persons with almost similar names. Also it's a challenge with not only the ancient Greek symbolism, but also the fact that almost every sentence has a double meaning. Great summer reading, though.Perfect for the hammock!

I just might do that. I have repeated a Child's edition of Homer's Odyssey, and also read the book Nora, a biography about James Joyce's wife, on beforehand.
With Gunnar as back up, I already am enjoying my travel.

Hubs and I had strawberries last night with whipped creme!
The strawberry pops against that blue.
At first I was going to say the blue is the color of old Milk of Magnesia bottles. :)

I thought this would be easier. Maybe this color just gets used in our area.

Life in the suburbs ... if you've lived in a New York apt. your whole life, this might feel like a farm. We have a little backyard, which is being run over with strawberry plants from one side and raspberries on the other.
