Interviewed on Cooking Manager

winery in the Galil 2007
Leora and family at Galil Mountain Winery, June 2007

Hannah Katsman interviewed me on her cooking manager blog. Visit the interview, comment if you like and enjoy. Included is a small photo of my daughter’s reaction to drinking the delicious, pricey wine (she was five years old at the time). Thanks, Hannah.

FYI, the header on the Cooking Manager blog is one I recently designed for her site.

hee hee...
Coincidentally, «Louis» et Mme la Vache drove to the north coast yesterday, stopping at Francis Ford Coppola's winery on the way. A group of people, glasses in hand, emerged from the tasting room for a photo op similar to what you've posted here.

We've got two, to my husband's dismay; he roots for the Mets. Not that it helps(rooting for the Mets).

Great interview, Leora. I was especially interested in your comments regarding margarine - in the UK it was (and still is) the same - margarine was THE answer to all of those unhealthy fat issues. Growing up in the 1970s, we had a particularly awful margarine called Stork, which I can still taste now. It did not taste at all natural. I hope that it isn't too late to undo all the damage....

If you eat vegetables, whole grains, legumes and stay away from those bad vegetable fats, I think your body will heal! In my opinion.

How anyone stays away from chocolate is beyond me. Luckily, it's got its good points, too (the sugar is the bad point).

My husband must have taken this one! So credit goes to him. Glad you love it - I do, too. Good times with family.
