Guess the Object

ball
Any idea what this is? Yes, it’s shaped like a ball, but what is it? And where is it?

Michelle, you can come back tomorrow and see what other clues have been given...

It has mold lines - so I'm guessing it's made from plastic or rubber. And it looks like it's on a knitted wool blanket or a terry cloth towel

You got the towel right. That's a clue. And see below, it's some kind of plastic.

I want to say its a candy or some sweet treat but the embossed line passing vertically makes me think it could be made of plastic...but if it is made of plastic, what is it doing on the material that looks like some kind of wool or synthetic fabric!!!

I know I get too technical even in simple guessing game... hehe sorry...

something edible? candy? or am I just craving sweets now?

Reply
leoraw says

You are craving sweets. No, it's not a sweet. But it is synthetic.

I'm stumped...

Here's another clue:

The actual size is smaller than pictured.
And it's attached to something.

I've got another clue about what it's attached to that I'll give tomorrow sometime.

Baby's noisemaker?
Ball for beach racketball (wooden rackets - matkot)? Or that only an Israeli thing...

Reply
leoraw says

I know what those wooden rackets are. I think I did a post last summer with one:

No, it's nothing to do with babies. Or wooden rackets.

Nope, not a rattle.

A beach-ball-shaped button on a terry-towel swim cover-up.

How'd I do???

Is the movie over? We saw Time of Favor a few years back. I liked the movie despite it being a bit anti-religious. Didn't like the local commentary I heard that went with the film. Don't remember all the details.

No on the button. Yes on the towel (but not a cover up, just a beach towel).

I'll give the clue now: my daughter asked me to bring this object to the beach because she has seen people at the beach have them. But then she realized that they have ones made especially for the beach, and hers is not made for the beach. It flopped over.

The suspense is killing me. Seems so familiar! Like a crochet (sp) ball, but they're not usually pink.

Reply
leoraw says

Cool, a crochet ball. No, a crochet ball is not attached to something else. You really need to be guessing the something else.

I haven't the faintest idea. I was just going to say rubber ball sitting on a baby's blanket, or else an all-day sucker, but since those are both wrong I'm stumped.

Sounds like I need to post another picture tomorrow. Stay tuned.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here. It's an umbrella (in the photo maybe the bottom of it)/ Everyone has one by the beach. But this one wasn't a beach umbrella, so it blew over.
